Scent That Stays
Natural reeds draw the fragrance up slowly and release it steadily for weeks. Nothing to light, plug in or switch on — just a signature atmosphere that greets you every time you walk in.
Your Signature, Chosen
From Rose Velvet & Oud to Sea Salt & Sagewood, each House Fragrance is designed to sit beautifully on a shelf, mantel or bedside — as considered to look at as it is to live with.
How long does a Delune reed diffuser last?
Beautifully long. Because the reeds release fragrance slowly and steadily, a diffuser will typically scent a room for several weeks to a few months, depending on the size of the space, the warmth of the room, and how many reeds you use. It fades gently over time rather than stopping suddenly.
How do the reeds work, and how do I make the scent stronger or subtler?
The reeds draw the fragrance oil up from the bottle and diffuse it into the air. For a stronger scent, use all the reeds and flip them every few days so the freshly soaked ends sit at the top. For something more subtle, simply use fewer reeds. Wash your hands after handling them.
Where should I place it — are there surfaces to avoid?
Choose a spot away from direct sunlight, heat and drafts, ideally near a doorway so you notice it as you pass. Importantly, always stand it on a tray, coaster or protected surface — the fragrance oil can mark or damage polished wood, painted, lacquered and plastic surfaces if it comes into contact with them.
Is it safe to have around children and pets?
With no flame and nothing to switch on, a reed diffuser is a calm, low-fuss way to scent a home. That said, the fragrance oil is not for ingestion — keep the bottle and reeds out of reach of children and pets, place it where it can't be knocked over, and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Can I keep the bottle when the scent runs out?
The glass vessels are lovely to reuse or refill if you'd like to. When a fragrance runs low, you can replace it with a fresh House Fragrance to change the mood of a room — a simple way to move a scent from, say, bright citrus in the kitchen to something warmer in the bedroom.
